As a UX/UI Designer, my primary focus was on creating a seamless and intuitive user experience for the English version of the Mercari Group e-commerce site. This involved conducting user research to gain a deep understanding of our target audience and their needs, goals, and behaviours. Based on this research, I created wireframes and prototypes to test and iterate on various design concepts and ensure that they met the needs of our users.
During the design process, I paid particular attention to the layout and navigation of the site, ensuring that it was easy for users to find and access the content and products they were looking for. I also focused on creating visually appealing and cohesive designs that aligned with the brand's aesthetic and messaging.
In addition to the user experience, I also worked on the user interface design of the site, which included designing the visual elements such as typography, colour schemes, and imagery. By carefully considering both the user experience and user interface design, I was able to create a cohesive and engaging online shopping experience for Mercari Group's customers.
